UNITY...

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

He created us in the sense that we are unique on our own. We have our individual differences. And that's what builds a strong relationship among us in our community. And this relationship leads us to unity.

UNITY. This is makes us the community strong amidst the challenges that come along. Unity is founded upon by loyalty and respect. Unity means having a good relationship among the people in the community. Therefore, unity is what we need towards success.

Of course we should maintain the strong bond that holds the people together. One must understand the fact that people are different from each other. Selfishness must be crossed out. Sacrifice is what we need.

So, let us sand together to face the problems along our way.

"...for together we stand. Divided we fall..."

Or so I Thought...

Wake up at ten in the morning. Take a bath. Eat. Watch movies. Eat. Watch Stylista, CSI: NY. Sleep.

Whoah! I can't believe there wouldn't be any class for one week. I can't believe this would be my schedule! Yeah the sem-break is fun for most students... BUT... BUT... but I'm just not used to staying in our house and wait for the day to end!

Boring much!

Or so I thought.

Last October 26, my schoolmates were busy preparing for the Twilight Festival sponsored by the Heritage City of Vigan. They needed more dancers that's why my friends encouraged me to join. Well, I wanted to enjoy the break, and I wanted to dance, so I joined it. The next thing I thought was that this break is going to be dozens of fun!

EXCITED!! Really excited!!

We practiced for the festival for just four days. Like, street dancing and showdown for that short span of time! It would take extraordinary talent to do that! And guess what, we made it! Though it was body aching, I still had fun practicing with my schoolmates.

The best part was the contest proper! Though we did not win in the competition, I still enjoyed the night taking pictures with foreigners! We were the "Darling of the Crowd" plus ten thousand cash!-for consolation. (LOL).

BREAK WAS GOOD! YOURS?.....

there's nothing but English

Breaking Barriers Through English
Let me tell you what the world has been longing to achieve for centuries. PROGRESS.
Definitely all countries, Presidents/Queens/Prime Ministers, officials and citizens want peace, unity, growth and development among us all. We wish for a united edifice taking care of Earth for the next generation.
It would be easy for us to achieve this dream but there are just some issues that we need to overcome. There are BARRIERS.
The largest barrier that we need to jump over is the presence of different dialects. You see, even when we have brilliant ideas on how to improve our society, if we don't understand each other, it would be useless.
Since this is the barrier, we need to have a common language so that all of us would understand each other. And that is the time when SuperEnglish is to the rescue!
Being the universal language, we learn this language. And when we know this language, we can understand each other. If we can understand each other, there would be peace, unity, and development among us. We can attain progress!
But then again, let us not depend on English in breaking these barriers. Let the English Language be the instrument and let us be the players of that instrument. Even if SuperEnglish is there, when we resist to learn it, then, it would be senseless. Let us learn to use the English Language in our everyday lives. In this way, we can learn how to play the instrument. Once you know and practiced playing the instrument, time would come that it would sound graceful. Just like the English Language.
Well then, long live English!

it's time for a change.. :)

FILIPINNOVATION: The Way Forward

Do you know the problem? It's not only the government. It's the people, too.

Fair enough, the populace has been a big factor in the slow development of our country. We are also one of the reasons why our country is being left behind in terms of advancement. We are blaming the administration for any bad incident in our country, but we don't even see our caabilities.

Now let me ask you questions that you need to ponder on.

Do you want to change the country? Do you care for our nation? Do you want to live a luxurious life? Do you desire a clean environment? Do you want peace and unity in out country?

If yes, then I salute your nationalism. If no, I hope you think about it one more time.

If you really care for our nation, let us start in ourselves. Let us change and improve ourselves. Let us develop our Good Filipino values. Let us help the government in making a change. Let us enhance our Filipino lifestyle. Let us "Filipinnovate".

"Filipinnovation is a way to improve our nation. When we improve ourselves, there would be peace and unity among us because we understand each other's situation. We know what is right and wrong. Through this, we can understand the government and try to help them in building our regime.

We have started Filipinnovation by choosing the right leaders last National Elections. Let's continue the good job. Let's help our President. Let us help the government. Let us help one another.

If we understand this, then we're on our way forward to progreaa. Success. Advancement. Growth and development.

Friend, Filipinnovate!

i salute all mentors. :]

Be inspired with this "The Teddy Stallard" movie. It is a story of a teacher who made a difference in the life of a student. For eight minutes, I hope you realize the moral of the story. :)
Now I'm fifteen. At this age, I already know how to read. I know how to write. I know how to speak and express my sentiments. AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF A TEACHER.

I can't help but think that my professors have "created" my life. Probably you are probing why. Let me explicate then how.

My teachers (parents) have told me the A, B, C's of life. They have taught me the basic values that I need to live with throughout my life. My teachers (in school) have exercised my reading and writing skills. The scolding habit of my teachers have given me experience- the learnings outside the four walls of the classroom. The different activities organized by teachers have taught me and my apprentices how to live on our own. So, in the first place, they molded me to be the person I am now. And until now, they continue to mold me for a brighter future.

"You showed me how, how to live like I do. If it wasn't for you I would never be who I am." Thanks, dear teachers.

HEY! DEAREST! IF YOU CAN READ THIS, THANK A TEACHER. :)

Thank you ICT! :)

The first day of the school year 2010-2011 has marked a new milestone in my learning journey. This meant another step toward my success. And yet in my first quarter, here are the things I have learned:first, the HISTORY OF THE INTERNET. This lesson has opened my eyes to where the Internet has actually started. It made me look up to those people who have made the Internet possible. I will always carry these learnings throughout my life. Next, THE INTERNET. This lesson has told me that the Internet actually has "secrets". I have learned about the different types of data- text files, graphic files and multimedia. I have learned about the Internet Services and Tools, and the blog- a coined term from web and log; the different types and the different types of blog search engines. Thanks to these things, I am now more aware about the "secrets" of the Internet. Third, THE URL. I have learned about the different parts of the URL-from the protocol to the Top-Level Domain. Thanks to this lesson, I already know those words written in the address box are.

The ICT is the best! I don't have any problems about it. The teacher is so kind and patient. The Internet connection at our work station is fast. The lessons are well-fed. What more could you ask for? No more!

Moving on, I will continue to love ICT and study hard for high grades. I know I will be successful someday-thanks to ICT.

LET'S LOVE..

Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan,
Wagas na Pagmamahal ang Kailangan.

The Philippines is a wide archipelago. It is a country of different provinces, different people, different cultures and of course, of different dialects.

Having different dialects has been seen by President Manuel Quezon as a major problem in our country. That is why he passed a law declaring Tagalog as our national language. This was a good move by President Quezon.

Despite the law that has been passed, there are still people, especially in the native areas who don't know the national language. When all of us are to talk to each other, we would not understand each other. All of us want to preserve our own dialects, but think about it-if we all want to end the poverty in this country, then we should learn to love and respect our national language.

We all know that our natural resources are already being destroyed. Let us learn to take care of them. But how will we be able to make a choral move; how are we going to make a plan in making our move when we can't even understand each other.

AND SO HERE'S THE BOTTOM LINE. Let us learn to love each other, so that we can take care of our nature.

It's Nutrition Time!

Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat

Nutrition is probably the most important thing that we are paying attention to. Without proper nutrition, we would experience diseases and abnormalities throughout our lives. Nutrition is needed for energy, and for having a healthy life.

One of the ways of obtaining proper nutrition is having a healthy diet. This means eating the right food and eating the right amount of food. If a person would not maintain a healthy diet, he will not have a normal health and probably will grow up malnourished or obese.

A person who is pregnant should be given proper nutrition because the baby is affected on how the woman is nurtured.

And also, as early as a person is still a baby, proper nutrition should already be given to him because the nutritional status of an average person depends on how he was nurtured when he was still a child. If the nutrition given was not enough, there is a big possibility that he will grow below normal. But if too much is given, he might grow up above normal.

So, we really need proper nutrition, because "Sa pagkaing tama at sapat, wastong timbang ni baby ang katapat."
